Steamed Banana Sponge

Materials

  • 230 g peeled Ambon banana
  • 40 ml liquid milk
  • 70 g palm sugar
  • 3 tbsp raisins, chopped
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 2 SariWangi Milk Tea Teh Tarik
  • 125 g wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 80 ml of oil
  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

How to make

  1. Mash the bananas using a fork. Mix well with liquid milk.

  2. Beat the palm sugar with eggs and SariWangi Milk Tea Teh Tarik until smooth using a whisk.

  3. Add banana mixture, stir. Pour in the oil while stirring until smooth.

  4. Put the flour, baking powder, and baking soda into a bowl filled with dough using a sieve while sifting. Stir well. Add chocolate chips, stir.

  5. Prepare a rectangular pan that has been smeared with margarine, pour the sponge mixture into it.

  6. Steamed in a hot pot until cooked. Lift. Remove from the tin. Serve.
