Sempol Spicy Chicken

Materials

2 spring onions, thinly sliced
skewer
2 eggs, beaten together with 3 tablespoons of water
tsp salt
water, to boil
the oil for frying

Sponge dough

500 g chicken fillet
6 red onions
4 cloves garlic
4 pieces of red chili
100 g carrots, roughly chopped
80 g tapioca flour
1 tbsp wheat flour
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp Jawara Sambal Extra Hot Sauce
tbsp Royco Chicken Broth
1 tsp salt
tsp white pepper powder
tsp sugar

How to make

  1. Sempol dough: Put the chicken fillet, shallots, garlic, and red cayenne pepper into the chopper. Process until smooth.

  2. Add all the remaining ingredients including the extra Hot Chili Sauce Champion and Royco Chicken Broth. Process again until the carrots are crushed and well mixed with the dough. Transfer to a container. Stir

  3. Take 2 tablespoons of sempol dough, wrap it on a skewer by means of a fist. Repeat the same process for the remaining dough.

  4. Bring the water to a boil. Enter the sempol, cook until cooked. Lift and drain. Set aside.

  5. Stir the eggs together with the salt. Set aside.

  6. Heat the oil, dip the sempol into the beaten egg. Fry in hot oil until cooked. Lift. Drain.

  7. Serve with Jawara Sambal Extra Hot Sauce.
