Materials
4 bananas, sliced lengthwise, cut into 2 parts
the oil for frying
Flour layer
450 g rice flour
500 ml water
50 g wheat flour
1 egg
tsp Royco Chicken Broth
Sambal roa
150 g smoked roa fish
4 tbsp oil, for frying
1 tomato, chopped
1 tbsp Royco Chicken Broth
Seasoning, puree
10 pieces of red chili
10 red onions
6 large red chilies
6 cloves of garlic
How to make
- Sambal roa: Remove the skin and bones of the roa fish, puree the fish meat using a spice blender, chopper, or food processor.
- Heat oil, saute ground spices and tomatoes until fragrant and cooked. Add roa fish, mix well. Add Royco Chicken Broth, stir. Cook until absorbed. Lift. Set aside.
- Heat the oil, dip a few pieces of banana into the flour mixture. Fry until cooked and dry. Lift. Drain. Repeat the same process for the remaining ingredients.
- Serve fried bananas with sambal roa.
